London Cycling Campaign

The London Assembly 2013-14 budget letter-writing tool is now closed

On Monday 24 February 2013, the London Assembly voted against a motion calling on Mayor Boris Johnson to increase spending on cycling next year from £104 million to £145 million.

The motion was supported by the Labour, Liberal Democrat and Green groups, with the nine Conservative Assembly Members voting against.

We thank the thousands of supporters who wrote to their Assembly Members, and City Hall received 30,000 messages on this topic.
